  • 1 clove garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 pounds flank steak

  1. In a tiny bowl, mix together garlic clove, salt, soy sauce, ketchup, vegetable oil, pepper and oregano.
  2. Score each side from the meat, gemstone cut, about 1/8 inch deep. Rub garlic clove mixture into each side from the meat. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil, and refrigerate for five to six hrs, or overnight. Switch meat every couple of hrs.
  3. Preheat an outside grill for top heat, and gently oil grate.
  4. Place meat around the prepared grill. Prepare for several to 7 minutes per side, in order to preferred doneness.
